Ms. Yeager says of her new work, “I am influenced by what I see as well as by what I think & read. I gravitate toward things in the world that are composed of equal, minute parts. Italian mosaics are an influence on this work, but not any more than the natural limestone outcroppings I see along the shores of Lake Travis, or the flocks of blackbirds that form shapes against the Texas sky.”
